We arrived early morning, exhausted and bleary-eyed. Hotel Cellini’s team greeted us warmly, immediately took us to our room to freshen up, then provided us with a wonderful breakfast. We booked our room for 8 days and it was perfect. Rooms are spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Every staff member was incredibly helpful at any time of day. The Repubblica subway stop is 2 blocks from the hotel and staff gave us valuable tips for safety. Our experience was absolutely wonderful.

Beautifully renovated hotel - rooms well appointed with modern bathrooms. The hallways and newly opened enclosed terrace has beautiful and well cared for flower pots everywhere. 24 hours front desk coverage with courteous and helpful staff who speak fluent English. Breakfast buffet with traditional Italian pastries but also cheeses, prosciutto, hard boiled eggs and cereals, yogurt and large selection of teas and coffee options. The hotel is in a side street but just a block away from one of the main streets and plazas in Rome, in easy walking distance to Roma Termini and many tourist locations. Last but not least the owner seemed to be there every day very much involved with the running of the hotel very friendly and proud of the beautiful hotel he has created - as he should be because we had a lovely stay there and my elderly parents enjoyed it very much too. Highly recommend it!

This is not the first review I have written about the Hotel Cellini, but I just wanted to add this time that since my last visit there they have added a closed in terrace and expanded the dining area, making that experience even nicer. But the most important thing about the Hotel Cellini is the incredible staff who never fail to keep up their very high standards of warm welcome to a beautiful, clean, charming little hotel in the center of Rome. It is always like coming home. Barbara, Donato, Gaetano, Derek and Lauren are always available to help . wholeheartedly, for everything. I have recommended the Cellini to many friends and colleagues and everyone thanks me for that and keep coming back, as I do. Nothing but the highest praise and thanks,

We were really worried when we first arrived. The hotel is on the second floor on a nondescript block. Walked right by it— tiny sign by the door. 5 steps to get to the elevator, antique metal cage style. Once we went inside the hotel, we relaxed. it was bright and well-maintained. Our room was surprisingly large with older but clean and functional furnishings. The roomy bathroom was exceptional. Seemed brand new and had a jetted tub and a bright light over the mirror (first of our 4 hotels to have that). A few minutes walk from Termini Station but far enough. Area was safe with close shopping and restaurants. 20- 30 minutes walk to many sights, and close to metro, trains and buses. Very reasonably priced. Staff helpful. The only disappointment was the breakfast. Limited selection other than really sweet pastry, Fine with cold buffet only but hard boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, fruit (other than hand fruit), and decent breads or regular croissants would have been appreciated. Breakfast seating inside and in an enclosed patio (which was too cold for us). The only downer in an otherwise lovely stay!

The staff was helpful, kind, warm, and spoke better English than I did Italian. The room was large enough and quite comfortable. The shower had multiple faucet heads which was fun. Breakfast was simple (no eggs) but tasty and sufficient. The location was convenient to the train, and to the bus and metro lines. I would gladly stay here again.
